Konad zebra print on MUA two toned sponged nails

In this post I am going to show you how I did this.
First you need to start off with a base coat to help stop your nails from staining then two nail polishes,
I used MUA Mystical Glitters Mermaid and Mystical Glitters Jellyfish
You will also need some sponges I got a bag of then from pound land so any will do.
To make the blended affect you brush the colours on to the sponge and dab it on to your nails topping up the sponge when needed.
I found that I needed two layers this is layer one (above)
And Layer two (Below)
Then I used Konad stamping plate M57 with the Konad black polish.
Next you just pop on a top coat I used Konad top coat and then its just the clean up and your done.

Twist and out review

Twist and out review

Hi , My name is Kirsty

This is my 1st blog hopefully 1st of many. My plan is to try and tell you about the things I like when it comes to nails, make up and maybe the odd bit of cooking.

I am going to start off by writing a review on the Twist and Out  nail varnish remover. I got it for £1 from poundland. I thought for £1 you can't really go wrong if I don't like it bin it and if I do upgrade to a nicer one like the Bourjois Magic nail polish remover.

I found this item really handy as I did not have to get everything out i.e. cotton wool and nail varnish remover. I have got kids in the house and this made it a lot easier knowing I would not have bits of nail varnished soaked cotton wool balls laying around while I was removing my varnish. I did find the plastic insert a bit of a pain as it would move around sometimes, almost trying to come out the top. I also found that I would tip it on its side when twisting and end up wearing the remover. It does not having the best of lids it leaks so must be kept in an up right position.

Out of 10 I would give this a 5, It works well and is a super handy thing to have around the house for a quick removal of nail varnish. I would not buy this again but I am definitely going to look in to an upgrade like the 'Bourjois Magic' nail polish remover as its got a sponge inner so should not leak as much.
